1st Summer Evening Show & Recent Results

This past Friday was our first Summer Evening Fix-A-Test & Jumper show at the farm. We had a great turnout and hope that everyone had fun (despite having to move the jumper show to the grass due to flooding in our outdoor arena). Special thanks to show secretary Stacie, dressage judge Meghan Truppner, Darenth Farm for making us part of your camp, and all of our many wonderful volunteers! We couldn’t have done it without you! Our 2nd Summer Evening show will be held Friday July 31st. If you couldn’t make it to the first one, be sure to come to our July show for all the fun! Tell your friends!

And now we need to also share some show results with you!

June 13th-14th: -Glenda with PL Irish Pearl was 14th in the Open Training-2 division at the Seneca Valley Pony Club Horse Trials -Danielle Douphinette with PL Irish Fiona was 6th in the Beginner Novice-B division at the Valinor Farm Horse Trials

This past weekend Glenda also competed at the Surefire Horse Trials. With PL Irish Pearl the pair finished 18th in Open Training-A and with KA Clover, Glenda finished 6th in the Open Novice-A division.

Playland is also currently seeking working students to begin late summer/early fall. If you or someone you know is interested, please email Glenda at: glenda@playlandequestriancenter.com. Applicants must be 18+ or older and have prior experience with upper-level horses.
