About the event
Playland Equestrian Center is excited to offer Equestrian Horsemanship knowledge and skills in a 13 week class series on select Saturdays starting on February 11, 2023 at 1:30 to 3:30!
These clases will help you develop the confidence and know how skill sets to safely handle, care, and show your horse or pony! Covering everything from grooming to show prep, stable management, horse parts and conformation, health care from diseases, vaccines to lamenesses, vital signs, riding etiquette, trailer safety and so much more! These classes will be unmounted, fun, educational, and hands on!
This series will be taught by Megan Scocco, assistant at Playland Equestrian Center. Megan has over a decade of experience in the horse world. Class 1 on Feb 11, 2023 is going to develop the skillsets of safely handling, leading, tying, grooming your horse! We will also go over names of brushes, basic horse safety, identify safe and unsafe handling and stable practices, stable etiquette.
