While Glenda specializes in her C.O.R.E. Rider method, which is applicable to all disciplines, she focuses her own competitive riding in the disciplines of dressage, eventing and show-jumping.

"I rode at Playland when I was in high school, but after my college lease horse passed away, Glenda was the first person I called. The environment here is so welcoming, and she has the expertise to offer every student in her program a challenging and thoughtful lesson."

- Sam

"I’ve boarded my horses at Playland since 2018, but when I was pregnant with my first child, I decided to put my mare in training. Glenda was a lifesaver with keeping Sissy in shape and progressing in her training, ready for me as soon as I was up to riding again. I saw so much benefit, I still have her in part-time training to this day!"

More Information about Lessons at Playland

Beginner lessons may be taught by one of our qualified staff members, not just Glenda. Lessons on our FEI schoolmaster are approved on a case-by-case basis to riders schooling at least 2nd level dressage.

Lessons can be scheduled almost anytime throughout the week and are available in private, semi-private or group format for boarders and non-boarders. Lessons can be taken on one of Playland’s school horses or your own horse.

Lessons canceled with at least 24-hour notice can be scheduled into a make-up lesson, as 24 hours gives ample time to fill the lesson spot left open. If students do not give at least 24-hour notice or are a “no show,” they will not get a make-up and payment is still due.
