LessonsPlayland Farm LLC is pleased to be able to offer lessons with trainer and instructor, Glenda Player. Glenda has taught thru-out the Unites States and abroad. She has a unique approach to teaching that enables each rider to perform at their optimal level. She teaches using a variety of tools to ensure she is teaching to meet each individual's learning style. These methods aid the rider in accomplishing the results of their lesson, while riding at home, as well as in the show ring. She believes that the horse and rider 'mirror each other,' and therefore focuses attention on rider position and biomechanics to improve the horse's movement and training. She is a student of applied anatomy and biomechanics, and utilizes her continuing education both in her riding and instructing. Glenda focuses her riding in the dressage and eventing disciplines, but is happy to teach riders from all disciplines to improve their balance, riding, and training of their horse. She has trained with Australian Olympic event team member Tarsha Hammond, 2006 Australian World Games Event competitor Meagan Jones, and continues to train with international clinician and instructor Wendy Murdoch. Some of Glenda's career highlights' include twice competing in USPC Championships, and receiving 1st place team overall in Show Jumping in 2000. Glenda is currently the sole trainer at Playland Farm.
