Upon retiring, Coille Mor Hill had an astonishing 40+ wins in International Grand Prix Show jumping competition; thus establishing himself as 'one of the most gifted performance stallions in Ireland!' Coille Mor Hill had pedigree on his side to help him achieve this astonishing record of wins. Being sired by Clover Hill, PL Diamond Hill's grandsire, was nothing to be modest about! Clover Hill along with King of Diamonds, PL Diamond Hill's dam's grandsire, are stallions both known as 'pillars of performance Irish Draughts.' Clover Hill ranked 4th on the Irish Horse Board's list of sires of successful show jumpers from 1990-1995 in the world rankings! The Irish Horse Board had King of Diamonds ranked 7th in 1991, when he died, on their list of successful show jumping sires in the world rankings! Amongst King of Diamonds successful offspring stands Diamond Lad, PL Diamond Hill's grandsire on his dam's side. Diamond Lad has been rated by the Irish board's genetic index to be King of Diamond's "best son" and "above him [King of Diamonds] as a sire of show jumpers!"
